Many people use a camera every single day of their lives and do not even realise they are doing it whether it comes from a digital camera, mobile phone or even something like a satellite or webcam. Where would we be now without this technology?

Memories

The camera has been used mostly over the years for picture taking of the family, friends and other things like weddings and events. Without the camera it would be very difficult for people to remember the good times that they have had. The great thing about photos is that the older you get the more appealing they are as they remind you of all of the precious times. They are also a great way to remember the people that have passed on as they remind you of all of the good times you had.

Military

There is no way on earth that the military and police would be as good as it is now without the camera. The camera is used for all kinds of things such as on police choppers to track heat signals of fleeing targets. Military use UAV to plan a lot of their battles as it shows things like positions of troops and the surronding landscape.

Satellite

Believe it or not satellite technology is based heavily on the camera so without these we would be stuffed as we wouldnt be able to see storms or spy on other nations.

Pain

The only problem with all of this is if you drop your camera and it breaks which is why you really should look into getting photographic equipment insurance. General gadget insurance will cover you too but it could also be worth looking into cheap laptop insurance if you have a laptop
