Sales If of course you are looking into sales (which I am not) then Wii comes out on top. However from my opinion (a person who has owned all of the Nintendo Consoles) this has been the worse console that Nintendo have ever made. Why on earth is this? The major reason why is simply because they do not give a damn about all of the past fans that made them money before the Wii, the majority of new games are aimed at idiots and Nintendo fans rarely see the light of day. Mario Kart Wii was at best disappointing as they seemed to take out everything that made Double Dash good. Mario Galaxy 2, nice one Nintendo, lets copy your previous ideas. So by that paragraph you can see that the Wii is out of in it my opinion. Online and other It has to be said that the PS3 is a great console with games such as Uncharted 2 it cannot be argued that it has some great graphics. However, online, although free, is slow, poor and features many people who cannot even speak English within it. Okay, but why not add some language barriers like Microsoft? Is Blu-Ray the only decent thing going for the PS3. The Xbox 360 has the better games, the better online service and just a generally better experience overall. So my recommendation to you is not to get a Wii for the family as it will only be played once. Getting a 360 or a PS3 is wise. To make sure these will not have to be replaced for some serious money, get game console insurance or gadget insurance. Of course you could also get some mobile phone insurance while you are at it.

Statistics show that around 88% of us don’t leave home without our mobile phones. Clearly reliance on these devices means that losing one can be a real nightmare. But mobile phones have become increasingly compact and lightweight and people often misplace them or they fall out of pockets without our knowledge. There are some interesting statistics from 2008 including: around 200,000 mobile phones were put into washing machines, around 600,000 were dropped down toilets and 55,000 were left in the back of taxis. We must also consider the very real possibility that a phone may be stolen. In the UK alone more than 2 million mobile phones are stolen each year. This means that around one is stolen every 12 seconds and this frightening figure is on the increase. If a mobile phone is lost there is the initial financial headache of replacement. But there may be some significant call charges arising between the time when the phone was stolen and when it is eventually disabled. Then there are the problems that will arise as a result of losing contact details and other valuable data stored on the mobile phone. It is estimated that fewer than 2 in 10 mobile phone users keep their phone SIM card data backed up to a separate device. Although modern phones come with software that makes it simple to transfer data to a computer still people don’t take advantage of this simple facility. So what steps can be take that will help protect us against loss or theft of our valuable mobile phones?

  • The first thing to do is not to make it easy for a thief to steal your mobile phone. Never leave your mobile phone unattended in the car and always keep it secure in a closed handback or backpack.
  • Make certain you record the IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) number of your phone. This is a unique number applied to each and every mobile phone that can be used to disable the mobile phone in the event that it is lost or stolen.
  • You can set your mobile phone to only operate after a configured PIN has been entered. This can be a bit of a nuisance but it will prevent a thief from running up substantial bills on your account.
  • Another simple suggestion is to switch your phone to silent alert or vibrate mode when in busy public places so that no one is alerted if your phone rings.
  • You may like to engrave your name and maybe your car registration details onto your phone and its battery. Alternatively you might like to use a system for attaching unique serial number stickers to your phone (as provided by trackitback.com) to your phone which will help identify your phone if it is lost or stolen.
  • It is worthwhile establishing a backup routine, copying your valuable SIM card data to secure storage location as often as possible. As a rule, if you are adding new contacts and appointments or notes to your phone every day you really should be backing up your phone data every day.
  • Finally, make certain that you have some mobile phone insurance that provides the protection that you need. Remember that not all mobile phone insurance policies are the same so be certain to read the details and ensure that you get the cover that you want.
  • Hopefully, by following these simple steps you will avoid becoming one of the lost or stolen mobile phone statistics. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> You may also like to protect your income with income protection and don’t overlook the need to protect other devices with some useful gadget insurance.

    Iphone Apps

March 5, 2010 by Original Author

So here it is, just some of the best apps that you can currently find on the iPhone. Some of them are made very well and for a useful purpose whereas others are just plain strange. AroundMe This is something that has become very useful to a lot of iPhone users as it will show you a lot of nearby things that could prove to be very useful to you. This is handy if you are stuck in a location that you are not too sure of as it can give you directions to fuel stations, hotels or even hospitals. It can not only show you things of use but leisuire things to do like movie theatres and bars and clubs. Fake Call This is a great bit of software for anyone who have to attend a lot of those boring board meetings as you now have an excuse to get out of it. All you have to do is simply set this up and it will call the mobile via your mobile so you are not using up any credit or minutes. For the meetings that you simply must get out of this is really good as it will look like there is actually someone calling you on the other end. Red Laser This app is useful for anyone who enjoys shopping round a bit to get the best prices. The great thing about this app is that there is hardly anyone who does not want to find anything for a cheaper price. This software is a brilliant idea as it allows you to scan objects and compare them. The best thing you can use this for is to compare prices on entertainment items like music and games. Of course this is not going to help you if you drop the phone which is when you are going to need mobile phone insurance or perhaps even gadget insurance as this will cover you from other things too. On all of this you could be looking into getting insurance on another gadget which is of course where you could get laptop insurance

Do you remember life without cell phones? It wasn’t that long ago that seeing someone with a cell phone was an oddity. Additionally, if they had one it was bigger than their hand and very cumbersom to lug around. Most of my life has been spent without a cell phone and yet now, when I misplace mine, I feel like I am almost naked.
Cell phones are called mobile phones in most parts of the world and every culture treats them a little differently. In America, as with many other things, almost anything goes. We talk on our cell phones in the supermarket, in our cars, in restaurants, and almost anywhere except church and the movie theater. It has gotten so bad that many states are now passing laws that make it illegal to talk and hold a cell phone while driving. Although it is obviously rude and annoying to hear people in public talking on their cell phones, no one seems to care and the mob rules.
In Japan, it is considered rude to use your mobile phone in many places and so they don’t. You will never see or hear a Japanes person talking on their mobile phone in a train, subway, supermarket, or most other public places. It is most rare to even hear a mobile phone ring in public as they always seem to have them on “silent” mode. Quite a contrast indeed, from America.
Cell phones keep changing and evolving a lightning speed. What was cool 6 months ago is now almost always old and obsolete. Many people have started in the last couple of years to wear their cell phones on their ears with the advent of an attachment which transmits to the main unit. People think nothing of walking around in public all day with these strange and odd looking contraptions hanging from their ears. It seems that just years ago they would be laughed off the street. No one is laughing now though as more an more people keep buying and using them.
The cell phone is now quickly becoming a handheld computer as well as a phone, camera, and MP3 player. The newest cell phones will connect you to the Internet and it is just a matter of time before that becomes commonplace. Someday quite soon everyone will have a small computer in their pocket in the form of a cell phone. I am starting to wonder whether there will ever be a need for face to face communication in the future. Are you looking for the best prices on AT&Tcellphones?
